Easter is one of the brightest and brightest religious holidays. Easter should be celebrated with the family with all loved ones and children. It is imperative to prepare for Easter. The main element of physical and spiritual preparation for Easter, of course, is the Great Lent preceding it. Easter is the long-awaited day of the end of the fast, when any food is allowed, you can celebrate and have fun.

Easter traditions

Easter is over 2000 years old and is the day of the resurrection of the Savior Jesus Christ, as many know. However, the meaning of Easter for most people has long been lost, and people celebrate this day as another in a long series of holidays. Many, by inertia, bake or buy Easter, paint eggs, not thinking about what lies at the heart of these traditions, but because it is customary and everyone does this.

Easter was considered one of the most massive and popular religious holidays. A seven-week strict fast, spent in restraint, meditation and prayer, ended with the Easter holiday, when national festivities were announced. Church all-night services, a procession of the cross on the holiday were held brightly and solemnly, and all believers were present without exception. People consecrated dishes specially prepared for Easter and then served them on the table. On Easter, people necessarily Christed and congratulated each other on the Resurrection of Christ. They said "Christ is Risen" and heard in response - "Truly is Risen", while exchanging three kisses. Today this tradition has been preserved, and even non-believers congratulate each other in this way.

Orthodox believers begin preparing for Easter seven weeks before the Bright Resurrection of Christ, entering into Great Lent. Today we are all going through a difficult time, when everything that seemed to us familiar and unshakable for many generations suddenly changes and comes into a state of uncertainty. Time of restrictions and anxiety. Perhaps this is a test of our faith, endurance, trust in God and the hierarchy. Believing only in a bright future and a return to foundations, our company has planned an Orthodox exhibition-fair before Easter to facilitate the preparation of Orthodox Christians for the holiday. In one place it will be possible to order treasures, purchase utensils, icons, lean products and products for the Easter table, Cahors, everything for baking beads and painting eggs, Easter napkins, passionate candles, candles for home prayers, baskets for lighting, healing monastery ointments and tinctures, preparing yourself and at home for Easter. Parents will buy gifts for their children: for marriageable girls - jewelry made of gold and silver or some new clothes, and for kids - honey, sweets, whistles, honey cakes and much more. You can meet the priests at the Orthodox lecture hall and learn about traditions, beliefs, biblical legends - all this can be done at the Easter Traditions exhibition-fair!
